Redesigning a critical financial workflow at scale
Noitso—now part of Experian—is a software company specialising in financial IT solutions. One of their key products, Credit Board, helps businesses verify the financial standing of individuals applying for car leases, loans, and other services that require a credit check.
We were brought in to redesign the product experience for Credit Board with a clear objective: make the onboarding process smoother and more intuitive, while supporting thousands of users each week. Our focus was on usability, accessibility, and system scalability—without compromising the accuracy and seriousness expected in a financial product.
Making complexity feel simple in a high-trust space
Credit Board deals with sensitive financial data and serves organisations that depend on speed and precision. We needed to make sure the interface delivered both. One of the biggest challenges was striking the right balance between clarity and compliance—presenting critical information without overwhelming the user.
We also had to modernise the platform’s UX across devices while implementing a design system that could grow with the product. The solution needed to support fast onboarding, smooth workflows, and consistent interaction patterns that could be extended across new features and use cases over time.
Grounded in insight, built for performance
We began with an in-depth analysis of the customer journey, mapping how different users interacted with Credit Board across various scenarios. This helped us identify points of friction and areas where design could drive both speed and understanding.
From there, we created detailed wireframes optimised for multiple platforms—ensuring responsive layouts and consistent logic from desktop to mobile. Our aim was to reduce unnecessary steps, eliminate ambiguity, and make the interface feel familiar, even for first-time users.
To ensure long-term consistency and speed of development, we built a robust design system. Every component was designed to be flexible, accessible, and easy for the development team to implement. We worked closely with Noitso’s team to validate each design decision, ensuring technical feasibility and internal alignment.
