A unified tenant experience built on Propbinder’s new AI-ready design system
We partnered with Propbinder to design and engineer their new tenant app from the ground up. The goal was clear: create a fast, intuitive, fully white-label solution that their customers could deploy instantly. The app needed to connect directly to the AI-ready design system we built for their administrator platform. Experience quality, speed, and consistency were non-negotiable.
We handled everything from strategy and research to design system extension, UI design, and engineering. The result is a native-feeling PWA trusted by thousands of tenants, delivered at a pace only possible with a system-native workflow.
The tenant experience is fully white-labelled, powered by shared tokens from Propbinder’s AI-ready design system.
Designing for everyday tenants at scale
The core audience is the average tenant living in large residential complexes. We conducted stakeholder interviews with Propbinder’s customers and end-users to identify the minimum lovable product. Messaging, navigation, and the core flows were shaped around real usage patterns and accessibility needs.
All component decisions (typography sizes, spacing rules, touch targets) came from the same governed system used across Propbinder’s web platform. This ensured the mobile experience felt familiar, trustworthy, and predictable across every brand variant.
From Figma to a production-ready app across iOS, Android, and web
In our studio, design and engineering is handled by the same designer. This enables us to move directly from designs in Figma to production-ready PWA code. The underlying design system tokens allowed us to prototype and build features quickly without trade-offs in quality.
This workflow drastically reduced the development timeline and removed the usual designer–developer bottlenecks. Propbinder could focus on operations while we delivered a complete frontend experience, ready for their developer team to integrate.
A native-feeling PWA praised for quality and micro-interactions
Tenants and administrators highlighted how “native” the PWA feels. Small but intentional motion details, clear visual hierarchy, and front-loaded information architecture created an experience that feels modern and reliable.
The design and engineering quality builds trust, which is especially important for a product handling consumer information and maintenance communication.
“The app feels like the most polished tenant experience in our market. The quality feel exceeded our expectations.”

Accelerating development with an AI-ready design system
This app is built entirely on the AI-ready design system we created for Propbinder. Tokens, components, and documentation live in a shared Storybook instance, making the mobile experience an extension of the same governed infrastructure.
This system removed developer guesswork and allowed Propbinder’s engineering team to pick up features with little onboarding. It also ensures long-term scalability as new building types, customer brands, and modules are added.
“EDL delivered exactly what we needed: speed, clarity, and a product that raises the bar for our market.”

We can help you, too
If you’re scaling fast and need design that performs at the pace of engineering, let’s start with a sprint. We’ll prove what outcome-driven design can do in four weeks.
