Helping Cursum teach better
Cursum has spent 15 years building a powerful learning platform. In a crowded LMS space, they’ve carved out a solid place, helping large organisations deliver training programmes with confidence.
But even the best teachers need to refresh their material. Cursum had two admin interfaces, one more advanced than the other, that needed a modern upgrade. They wanted to make it easier for managers to navigate, without losing the depth their customers valued.
The goal was to create a more intuitive, approachable experience, and build a design partnership that could keep supporting them lesson after lesson.
Making learning feel lighter
Cursum’s platform is rich with detail. The challenge wasn’t about simplifying the content. It was about making it easier to follow. Like a good classroom, the platform needed structure, clarity and a natural flow.
At the same time, Cursum wanted to develop a new branded end-user experience. A space that felt more welcoming and offered customisation for their customers. Both sides of the platform, the admin tools and the learner-facing interface, needed attention. And the work had to happen in step with their development team.
Improving the experience, lesson by lesson
We started by aligning with Cursum’s leadership, then worked closely with their team to define the new design direction.
We focused first on the admin experience, improving navigation and adding a dashboard to support daily tasks. Then we refined core workflows to make them more intuitive. Each month, we reviewed and improved new areas of the platform while building a scalable component library.
In parallel, we designed the branded end-user experience that felt connected to the admin side but with its own character.
A smarter platform, always in progress
Our partnership with Cursum is still in full swing. Together, we’ve launched new designs that are already live and making a difference. Quick design cycles mean faster improvements, and the platform continues to evolve, step by step.
The result is a more structured, approachable learning experience for managers and learners alike. It’s not about overhauling everything at once. It’s about making the platform easier to teach, easier to learn and easier to love over time.
